FOR THE WOMAN WHO SOMEHOW ENDS UP WITH EVERYTHING ON HER PLATE

The Good Girl

Rewrite

A live workshop for women who are tired of putting everyone

else first — and want to know how to stop.

Wednesday 29th April · 12.30pm UK · 90 minutes · Zoom

You've spent years being the one people rely on.

The one who keeps things running. The one people call when something needs

sorting.

And for a long time, that made sense.

You had kids to raise. A home to run. Work to do. And people who genuinely

needed you.

So you did what you had to. You sorted things out. You made it work. You kept

things going.

And you became very good at being the good girl.

The reliable one. The reasonable one. The one who doesn't make things difficult

for other people.

But lately you've started noticing things you didn't question before.

  • How everything seems to land on your plate

  • How quickly you apologise when you don't need to

  • How often you hear yourself saying "it's fine, I'll do it"

  • How fast you drop your own plans so you don't make things awkward

And how the moment you start thinking about what you might want…

Don't be selfish.

Don't make a fuss.

Don't upset anyone.

At some point, women start saying the same thing to each other.

"How did I end up being the one who deals with everything?"

That's when they start to see it. Something that's been running

quietly in the background for years.

What I call The Good Girl Pattern.

Rules most of us learned before we were old enough to question

them.

Be good.

Be helpful.

Be reliable.

Keep things together.

And whatever you do — don't make life difficult for other people.

Most of us got very good at following them.

THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR YOU IF

Any of this sounds familiar

  • You’re the one they come to when something needs sorting out — and you always say yes

  • You find yourself thinking “it’s easier if I just do it myself”

  • You feel irritated, resentful, or fed up… and guilty for feeling that way

  • You wonder when exactly you became the person who deals with everything all the time

  • You have ideas about what you want but immediately talk yourself out of them

  • You've started wondering whether this is just who you are now — or whether something could actually be different

IN THIS WORKSHOP YOU'LL

Leave with something concrete

  • See exactly where the pattern is running your decisions — in the moments so ordinary you've stopped noticing them

  • Hear the voice that calls you selfish as soon as you think about what you want — and know, in your body, that it's lying

  • Identify the one situation in your life where this costs you most — and name it clearly, possibly for the first time

  • Leave with one concrete thing written down — a real change, for a real situation, that you can use before the week is out

This isn't a sit-back-and-listen kind of session.

Think of it more like the conversation women have when they finally stop

pretending everything's fine and say what's actually going on.

We're going to look at where this actually shows up — the decisions, the

conversations, the moment you realise you've said yes again before you even

thought about it.

And work out what you'd actually choose instead.

Because there's something powerful about

hearing other women describe situations that

sound weirdly familiar.

The moment someone says "oh god, I do that too…" — the whole thing suddenly

makes a lot more sense.

That's why this is a live session rather than another recording.

WHAT WOMEN SAID AFTERWARDS

"This could not have come at a better time. I'm already applying what I've learnt." Natasha

"The somatic exercises are extremely impactful — quick and easy to put into practice." Jasmin

HI, I'M DENISE

I'm not going to tell you I've got it

all worked out.

What I will tell you is that I spent a long time being

extremely competent at doing things for everyone else

— and mistaking that for a personality.

I work with women who are good at everything except

putting themselves in the equation. Not because they're

weak or confused or need fixing. But because the rules

they learned a long time ago are still quietly running the

show.

My work combines identity coaching, somatic practice,

and nervous system work — which sounds very serious,

and occasionally is. Mostly it's just the honest

conversation that should have happened years ago.

This workshop is where that conversation starts.

If part of you is reading this and thinking

"this sounds like me"

- you'll probably want to come along.
